COMPETITION TIMELINE
1.Registration Period
July 19, 2022 – September 18, 2022
Teams of 5 students from participating universities are invited to register for the case competition before 11:59 pm EST on September 18.
2.Team Selection
September 21, 2022
25 selected teams will be contacted with the case information.
3.Competition Deadline
September 25, 2022
Teams will submit their pitch videos by 11:59 pm EST to be considered for the competition.
4.Judging Round 1
September 26, 2022 – October 7, 2022
Judges will select and notify the 4 finalist teams.
5.Judging Round 2
October 8, 2022 – October 14, 2022
Judges will decide the winner of the case competition.
6. Winner Announcement & Interview
October 18-19, 2022
The winner of the case competition will be announced live at the Toronto Global Forum. The winning team will have a live interview with BMO leaders at the event.

How are winners determined?
Judges decide the winner based on the team's submission videos
What is the price and what are the dates of the competition?
There is no cost to register for the case competition. Please see the above Competition timeline for the relevant dates and deadlines.
Are there any instructions or guidelines to help teams prepare?
Yes, a document with instructions, rules, and guidelines will be sent out to the selected teams along with the case. SEE THE DOCUMENT HERE.
When will the teams receive the case?
Selected teams will receive the case on September 21, 2022.
How long do teams have to complete the case?
Five days. Selected teams will receive the case on September 21, 2022, and are asked to submit their videos by September 25, 2022, at 11:59 pm EST.
How many rounds of competition are there?
Three rounds. First, out of all the team applications, 25 teams will be selected to participate and submit a video. Second, out of the 25 selected teams, the judges will choose 4 finalists. Third, out of the 4 finalists, the judges will choose a winning team that will be announced live and virtually at the Toronto Global Forum on October 18, 2022. APPLY HERE
